WELCOME… If you are new in the parish, please introduce yourself to the priests after Mass or at the parish office during the week. We want to know who you are to be able to better serve you. We hope you will support your parish by your prayers, your presence, your talents, and financial gifts. Please ask for a Registration Form. Fill it out and return it to the parish office, which is open between Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm or Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 3:00 p.m.

Please submit all pulpit announcements to the church office no later than one week prior to being announced at mass; all announcements need prior staff approval, therefore, no last minute announcements will be read from pulpit at weekend masses.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION SPIRITUAL RENEWAL EVENING 

Every one involved in religious education (K-8, Youth Ministry, Adult ED and RCIA) are invited on Wednesday, January 6, to a spiritual renewal evening. The night will begin in Church with a rosary at 6 p.m. followed by an uplifting talk in English “The Privilege of Being Catholic”  from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Room 212. Our presenter is St. Joseph’s parishioner, Dennis Hoskins, who converted to the Catholic faith April 2008 and who is on fire with his love for the Lord and is a very dynamic, inspiring, and compelling speaker. This will be a great way to reenergize and uplift us mid-way through our catechetical year, please come!  Our Spanish Spiritual Renewal Evening will be Saturday, February 20, 5-7 p.m., mark you calendars.

   

TARDE DE RENOVACION ESPIRITUAL PARA TODOS LOS COORDINADORES, CATEQUISTAS, AYUDANTES EN LOS DIFERENTES PROGRAMAS DE EDUCACION RELIGIOSA

Cada uno de los que estén involucrados con  el Programa de Educación Religiosa (K-8, Grupo de Adolescentes del Domingo, Educación para Adultos y RICA) están invitados el miércoles, 6 de enero, a una tarde espiritual de renovación. La noche empezará en la Iglesia con un rosario a las 6:00 p.m., seguido por una charla sobre  "El Privilegio de Ser Católico" de 6:30 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. en el salón 212. Nuestro presentador es un feligrés de nuestra parroquia de San José, Dennis Hoskins, que se convirtió a la fe católica en Abril del 2008 y que está ardiendo con su amor por el Señor y es muy orador muy dinámico e inspirador. Esta charla será en Inglés. Esta será una gran manera de reenergizarse y nos inspirará en la mitad del camino de nuestro año de catequesis, por favor, venga! Nuestra Tarde de Renovación Espiritual en Español será el sábado, 20 de Febrero de 5:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m. Marque en su calendario. Los esperamos!

 BIENVENIDO…Si eres nuevo en la parroquia, por favor, preséntate a los sacerdotes a la salida de la Misa o visita la oficina parroquial durante la semana. Queremos conocerte para servirte mejor. IN CASE OF EMERGENCY

St. Joseph’s is now using an answering service to receive calls after regular office hours 7 days a week. In the event of an after office hours LIFE/DEATH EMERGENCY you can call the church number (706-278-3107) and the answering service will answer, take information and if deemed an emergency will contact the on call priest and your call will be returned as soon as possible. All non emergency phone calls will be returned during regular office hours.

EN CASO DE EMERGENCIA

A todos aquellos que necesitan dar clases de catecismo a sus niños en casa, DEBEN tener un PERMISO previo, escrito de Cathy Blevins. Niños que estén en su primer año de preparación para un sa cramento (Primera Comunión o Confirmación) o hayan recibido su Primera Comunión y/o Confirmación y les gustaría continuar su camino de fe estarán permitidos a tomar las clases en la casa. Cualquier niño en su segundo año de preparación para un sacramento (Primera Comunión o Confirmación) deberá atender las clases semanales ofrecidas durante el programa de educación religiosa para ser elegidos a recibir el sacramento deseado. Las preguntas que tengan deben ser dirigidas a Cathy Blevins,  Directora de Educación Religiosa. Las inscripciones para clases en casa serán en los mismos días y horarios de las inscripciones para clases de educación religiosa en la parroquia, para los programas que comienzan en Septiembre.
